Bachelor buttons?
I'm looking for a recipe my grandmother used to do. It was a shortbread cookie, perhaps with some oatmeal (?) And a chip chocolate in the center. Does anyone have the recipe?
I found this one for you: 3 / 4 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 large egg 2 cups flour, sifted 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 / 4 teaspoon salt 1 / 2 cup cherries, finely chopped 1 / 2 cup coconut 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 / 2 cup walnuts chopped 1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 2. Add egg and mix well. 3. Add the sifted flour, salt and sodium. 4. Mix well. 5. Combine coconut, chopped nuts and cherries and add to mixture. 6. Mix well. 7. Drop in greased cookie sheets spoon. 8. at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.
