The trust is not in the coffee pot
Have you ever drank a cup of coffee and felt energized and ready to tackle any project? The feeling is thrilling! I remember the first time a triple latte from Starbucks. Although he did not like me heart palpitations enjoy feeling alert and energized! I had a meeting to attend and I found myself being even more outgoing than normal. I was on top of my game! But then, when caffeine I was not dissipated as well. I crashed hard! I almost fell asleep during the keynote presentation. They often refer to this experience when teaching in assertiveness.
You may wonder what this story has to do with being assertive, but I assure you it has a lot to do with it. Assertiveness is not authentic you can add to your life from any external source. This is the main reason that not only teach people to "act" assertive. I see people who have assertiveness training seminars been trying to put into practice what was taught. It is very funny indeed! They take to bend and sit without delay. They are looking down and quickly make eye contact. It's almost as if they have uncontrollable spasms. The sad part is that when I see one week after returning to their former way of communicating and who seem to be in a state to defraud.
The reason this happens is because being assertive with construction starts a strong inner belief system and have confidence in yourself, no matter what situation you are in. Like the coffee cup incident, trying to be assertive at work or anywhere else will not work. There is an authentic and will disappear with time. People will see through your "act" and will respond negatively. If you are a person that could devastate emotionally passive and if you're an aggressive or passive aggressive person, you can set off! To really be assertive that need to cope with their false negative or limiting belief systems.
What I think is true about himself inside manifest with time itself abroad through their words and actions. That's why teaching people how to be assertive from the inside / outside. If you grew up in a home where children were seen and not heard and never addressed the false teaching, you could find yourself not talk at work. If you were to believe that the money does not grow on trees ", which can never ask for a raise, and I do not think you deserve it and you feel guilty asking. If you have a limiting belief says that without a college degree can not become rich, can never pursue career change because they are afraid that they do not.
All false, negative beliefs, and limiting sabotage your personal and professional success! If you want to succeed it is important to spend time in front of their belief systems and change. Here's an easy way to start doing this.
Write a limiting belief. Then do your due diligence to find the truth that the counters. Write the truth beneath the limiting belief. Then write the action steps to be taken to change that belief. We needed at least 21 days to change a habit and acting on the limiting belief is a habit, so be prepared to spend the time to transition through this exercise. Once your brain believes that the truth will begin to show the words and actions match your new inner belief.
Then, when you communicate differently people will notice and you will start seeing positive results manifesting in your life. It is important to understand that as frustrating as not get the results you want in life because you are passive, passive aggressive, aggressive, or manipulative, it is so hard on people who are related.
Many people prefer dealing with someone who is confident, self-respect, and control of his mind, will and emotions, someone who is changeable and unpredictable. I know that if there are false, negative or limiting beliefs you are not satisfied with the results you're getting in life because I work with many people wanted my methods and tell me how they feel much better once it is changed.
The question is: Do you value enough to look inward, address their beliefs and make the changes necessary to succeed This is really the first step to be? effective assertive communicator. We must give value to your life or that no else will. The choice is up to you.
