How to plan a successful tea party
A couple times a year I plan and organize a tea party for some of my best friends.
What exactly is a tea party? A tea party is a social gathering in which tea and refreshments are served. This social gathering is usually held during mid-morning or late afternoon hours.
When it comes to hosting a party, you need to make plans for 3-4 weeks in advance. These are the things you need to plan.
Date and time – You will have to pick a day and time. This social gathering usually lasts 1 1 / 2 to 2 hours.
Location – You can hold the meeting at home (indoors or outdoors) or find a relaxing, such as the local country club park or garden.
Topic – What type of theme you like for your party? You can make a mother and daughter, school friends, neighbors, co- work or mothers / grandmothers topic.
Invitations – Your invitations should match the theme of your party. They must include all necessary information, such as: Who What, When and Where. Your invitations should be mailed to your guests 2 weeks before the party date.
Supplies – What kind of supplies you need? You will need: a variety of teas, food, teapots, tea cups, tea, tea bag holders, sugar, cream, demitasse spoons, dessert plates, cutlery, serving plates, napkins and a lace tablecloth.
Food – The food served during a tea party should be on the light side. Buns, muffins, cakes, biscuits top quality cakes, cookies and small snacks work best. It could also provide a cake for dessert full size chocolate covered fruit and chocolate truffles.
Teas – You must serve your guests a variety of teas. Black teas are the most popular here in North America, followed by green tea. In addition to their teas, they offer some accompaniments such as cream, milk, sugar, artificial sugar, lemon and honey.
These are the main steps will be taken to have a successful party. The most important, enjoyable, fun and stress-free for you and your guests.
