Painting on glass can be difficult, however. Paint can easily get out of the glass if the glass is not prepared and completed successfully. Here's how the best results.
Things You'll Need:
Art painting made for painting on glass
Brushes
Alcohol
Cloth clean
Clear lacquer
Prepare your vase
Step 1: Clean the vase and remove all oil by wiping it with alcohol. Oils will make the paint peel.
Step 2? Let dry the glass.
Step 3: Prepare the paint by following the instructions on the bottle. Usually, you not want to add water to the paint, as it will make the paint less adherent to glass.
Step 4: Paint your design on the glass. Simple designs are best.
Step 5: Add one or two coats of clear shellac after the paint dries.
Step 6: Allow the lacquer to dry and you're done!
