Albufeira Golf Courses
Salgados – This Golf course 18 holes is between Albufeira and Armacao de Pera. With its many water hazards, is a true test of golfing skills. This course is very well balanced each medium has three par 3 of 170 meters and two par five of 500 meters. The course par is 72.
Pine Cliffs – This golf course with 9 holes is located in a forest pine on the edge of a precipice. The first two holes are fairly easy, but the course gets harder after that. The hole known as "Parlou the Devil "is a special challenge because you have to play over a ravine. Par is 33.
Balaia Golf Village – Located on the road between Albufeira and Vilamoura, this is a 9-hole course ideal for beginners. All holes are par 3 and is based on a loop. The course is also perfect for those who want to practice and refine their control distance. Par is 27.
High Country – This golf course 18 holes was designed by Sir Henry Cotton, three times winner of British Open golf championship. This course really test a golfer. Has the dog's legs, cleverly placed bunkers and many trees and shrubs to negotiate their way around, but has a spectacular landscape enjoy, as it makes its way through two valleys of the mountains of Monchique, in the background. The course is par 72.
Ocean Golf Course – This golf course can found in Vale do Lobo and is a par 70 course. Another Sir Henry Cotton course, this is a cliff-top course of 18 holes with stunning views
Pinheiros Altos – In edge of the Ria Formosa Natural Park is this 18-hole golf course on the farm Quinta do Lago, Almancil. The course is challenging, because the back nine is set among hills dotted of water hazards and the green on the seventeenth hole is on an island. The course has become popular with the best professional players for the pre-season practice sessions. The pair This course is 72.
Quinta do Lago South – This par 72, golf 18 holes has hosted the Portuguese Open eight times. The course can play in a variety of forms, because of its two loops on the left and is a great course for all levels of players.
Quinta do Lago Norte (Rio Formosa) – This par 72, golf 18 holes can be a bit of a challenge. Sometimes wind conditions in the par 3 holes, dog legs are on the par 4 holes, water hazards on holes 13 and 18 and par 5 requiring both precision and power of the golfer.
San Lorenzo, Quinta do Lago – second in Europe, this golf course with 18 holes is a difficult course with several obstacles water and some holes through a pine forest. Hole 18, situated on a green island and a half, is said to be one of the best finishing holes in the world. There are wonderful views of the sea and lakes Natural Park that the course is set in. The Par is 72.
