My loose-leaf tea is weak … just not sure …?
Teavana I was in last week and had the most amazing tea sample. I had to buy something. It was a combination of Rooibos and Yerba Mate Chai. Therefore, I bought a tea infusion ball and follow his instructions implicitly (This site) http://www.teavana.com/c=how_to_prepare_tea/shop.axd/Static However, I've done it twice and both times it has left so weak seams – which is rich flavor it did in the store. What am I doing wrong? I'm heating the water with a kettle whistling old fashion. Also, if I wanted to make two cups at a time, how I do it? My first attempt I tried a cup and a half amount (with a proportionate amount of time for tea and steep) and yet proved weak. It is possible I am not my heat enough hot water?
I know you just bought, but if it is fresh it will taste weak. maybe double the amount of tea bulk. ? It's a bummer when you want something specific and not white. good luck.
