Conversations and collaborations with Stella Vine
2006
Viña Festival curated noise to under 25 years of age at Tate Liverpool in 2006.
Vid was a conservative for Noise Festival, an arts festival for children under 25 years old, launched in Urbis, Manchester in April 2006. In June 2006, gave a talk at the Tate Modern in "artificial eroticism" Sleeping Girl, a 1943, a painting by Balthus.
In June 2006, a number of artists Chelsea Art Club as Sarah Lucas, David Shrigley, Sandra Blow, Sir Peter Blake and Stella Vine as iconic Terry de Havilland platform shoes embedded exposure collective Fu * k Me! Shoes. Vine pair were named Moira (2006) which consists of two identical portraits painted Moira Shearer The Red Shoes in the template of each shoe red with red satin ribbons tied in the back. Vine made another painting Moira (2006), representing Moira Shearer tying red ribbons on ballet shoes painted with the slogan I Will Always Love You to his side, his solo exhibition at the Museum Bailiffgate that year. On June 26, 2006, shoes were auctioned for charity as part of the burlesque themed show. In 2008, hand-painted shoes came were exhibited for the second time in installation colourspace Donald Smith for shoes at the Intercontinental Hotel in Park London Lane.
In July 2006, the Vineyard held an art workshop with the family of people, animals and places in the Museum Bailiffgate. In August 2006, she appeared in the tabloids, when his painting of Celebrity Big Brother star, Samuel "Ordinary Boy" Preston and Chantelle Houghton, "was used as the invitation to wedding. "
On November 21, 2006, Vine was shot with Modern Art Oxford gallery director Andrew Nairne as part of a documentary called Tim Marlow Tim Marlow on … Modern Art Oxford on five (TV channel).
2007
In January 2007 Cortés cards celebrated the launch in London a series of greeting cards designed by Stella Vine with artists David Shrigley, Vic Reeves. In the same month, the vine was announced as a judge in an art contest in the United Kingdom throughout the country in the hands of Visto Brahma.
In April 2007, Vina was filmed in an episode of Horizon called Battle of the brains of BBC Two in 2007.
In May 2007, Viña participated in a public lecture on Gender and Culture with Germaine Greer as part of International Women's Festival of the Arts. Viña was subsequently Students interviewed by John Mason School, Oxford Community School, Oxford in July 2007, organized by the Arts Council of England.
In July 2007, Viña collaborated with the clothing chain Topshop, creating a limited edition fashion range inspired by his artwork. These include T-shirts, vest, and clothing T-shirt, labels designed in bright pink. The Guardian commented that "the fact that the range of shirts recently designed for Top Shop – Ornate with slogans like breaking up with her boyfriend – are flying, says much of his public support. "
In October 2007, Viña spoke to The Observer about Louise Bourgeois in an article entitled Kiss of Spider Woman. Viña bourgeois described as one of the "greatest artists ever" and that "few female artists has been recognized as truly important. "Vine admires" the juxtaposition of sinister elements, and complete control over materials with a breeding male warm and the feminine side cocoon "in bourgeois art." Viña is also described as bourgeois, "" incredible. Known all these great men and survived them all "The November 12, 2007, Vine was interviewed by Alan Yentob's series on BBC One in the Imagine documentary about life Spiderwoman and art of Louise Bourgeois.
In November 2007, Viña made the poem Lady Lazarus by Sylvia Plath, in the Purcell Room, Southbank Centre in London, as part visual art, a symposium organized by Sally Bayley.
December 2007-January 2008, Viña contributed a painting for a group exhibition called Trans-Europe Berlin, Germany, alongside the work of six other European female painters.
2008
Vid creates a portrait of supermodel Elle Macpherson in February 2008. The painting was subsequently exhibited at an event organized by Macpherson in London. In March 2008, a portrait of the Vineyard, taken by photographer Venetia Dearden, was part North Face exhibition at Alnwick Castle, which includes ten photographs from the collection of the National Portrait Gallery.
In 2008, he chose Vine The Uffington White Horse as your favorite artwork or the destination for Big Pix Artangel project.
In May 2008, Viña Artangel participated in the project Grand Pix film artists in a video that talks about her favorite artwork or destination. Viña chose the Uffington White Horse and described it as mysterious and inspiring. In September 2008 Viña introduced Groucho Club in London with an acrylic painting of Groucho Marx who first exhibited at the club in the fall of 2008. In October 2008, Viña donated a free paint called Mark (2008), musician Mark E Smith of the Free Art Fair in London.
In December 2008, the vine began to collaborate with Tatty Devine, the accessories boutique in London. Vine also created affordable art books in the style of a fanzine in collaboration with Books MREL. Viña also has created "an affordable" to own one of her paintings in the form of 27 small laptop with a hand painted butterfly on the cover of every music book vintage paper.
In the same month, the Vineyard, told The Guardian was going to happen on Christmas Day 2008 with a serpentine path around or walking Hyde Park or the city of London with his son bullmastiff dog and a small pack of whiskey and coffee. Viña collaborated with Japanese fashion label Comme des Garons showing Tralala a new painting (2008), which represents the central star of Hubert Selby, Jr. cult 's book Last Exit to Brooklyn, in central London Dover Street Market 27 November 2008 to January 8, 2009.
2009
Viña is speaking in a debate at the Oxford Union in February 2009.
Viña has scheduled to speak on February 19, 2009 in proposing the motion This House believes that promiscuity is a virtue not a vice, along with Dr. Shere Hite, Queen Carol and Joani Blank, in opposition are the Bishop of Ebbsfleet (Andrew Burnham), Wendy Shalit and Inga Muscio.
In February 2009, Gay Times, Viña discussed the "media frenzy and media scrutiny that followed Saatchi collect their work in 2004:" In the beginning it was a real battle to enforce any intelligence at all ".. She spoke to pour their emotions in interviews and coming across" a little wild "and explained that his mother had died at the time: "You're in a bit of a crazy place after something like that.." She said she now feels like "someone who has grown" and that she see life in a "great guy more mature way." Vine said he was happy the media gave him a platform when nobody else did, and despite get angry when things fit the facts stated in it or if their comments were taken out of context, that does not really count as it had the "opportunity to people see my work and make their own decisions. "
Vine is the creation of new jobs for a major solo exhibition at The Eden Project provided the summer of 2010.
Viña described modern celebrity culture, nothing new, that is something that humans had always done and admired the people who were under intense pressure as Britney Spears was "very, very brave." Viña discuss his paintings of other musicians such as Morrissey (and his band The Smiths) whom he admires for his "physique, his voice and his maverick attitude and independence." Viña painted Amy Winehouse Amy brick wall because of the "strange mix "of Amy's fragility and strength, and" the whole thing to put your man on a pedestal, almost like a country & western singer in the 60's. "Viña Kurt Cobain described as a good person, brave and that his pictures of Courtney Love as Courtney were convicted at trial of love when love was felt in Viña attack, which is identified with: "She's one of those people who are willing to put the truth out, with all its defects, though it will be attacked by it.
2010
In November 2008, it was announced that the vine had begun to paint a series of new works for a large solo exhibition in England The Eden Project, Cornwall, to be held from June to September 2010.
